Historical notes
[edit]The car’s pre-war history remains unknown at present.
During the 1950s, the car was acquired in Italy by a United States Army officer and exported to Texas. The chassis retains its original Farina spyder coachwork, and there is no evidence that it was shortened or otherwise structurally altered.
Following the death of the long-term American owner, the car was sold to a collector in New York, where it underwent restoration to its present configuration. The vehicle was publicly advertised for sale circa 2010.
Current configuration
[edit]The car remains in Farina spyder configuration, finished in red with black interior trim.
