Historical significance

[edit]

Chassis 7668 represents a reconstructed RL Sport built to 1924 Targa Florio specification using a verified 3rd Series RL chassis number and correct 3-litre engine.

While not a factory-built Targa Florio car, it has been restored and prepared to high historic competition standards and actively campaigned in prominent international historic events.

Its significance lies in its usability and faithful recreation of early RL TF specification rather than original works provenance.
